Meet George chases six
28 August, 2010: MEET George has earned a chance on a bigger stage to chase his sixth straight success at Newcastle next month.
Trainer Brian Smith is sure there is a big race win in Meet George and is keen to give him an opportunity in the Cameron Handicap at Broadmeadow on September 15.
Meet George extended his winning streak with a professional performance to win the Hotel LA Handicap (1350m) at Doomben on Saturday.
"He'll be better next year. I think his best time will be at the Brisbane winter carnival in 12 months time," Smith said.
"He is going really well right now. I love the way he finds the line and has a huge will to win."
